About Metrics@Work:
In the past 11 years, Metrics@Work has worked with over 200 Canadian organizations ranging in size from 40 employees to over 70,000 employees with the majority of corporations being in the range of 250-3,000 employees, collecting and analyzing employee, customer, and organizational data. Metrics@Work has created a strong reputation for its work across Canada, both in terms of surveying and consulting on “Better People Management.”
Who we are:
- Metrics@Work emerged from Brock University’s Workplace Health Research Lab (WHRL) in September, 2007
- Coupled with the experience of its predecessor (WHRL), Metrics@Work has been conducting Employee Satisfaction / Engagement surveys for over 11 years
- Brock University and previous WHRL Staff own Metrics@Work
- Metrics@Work maintains the databases and operates according to all guidelines, processes and systems previously approved by Brock University’s Research Ethics Board

Ability to Benchmark
We can benchmark your results against our database, sectors, job types, work groups. Our database contains well over 200 organizations representing over 250,000 Canadian workers. Our sectors include health care, municipalities, manufacturing, education. Job type comparisons can be general (e.g., senior manager, manager, front-line staff) or specific (e.g., Nurses, Physicians, IT Specialists, Engineers, Principals, Teachers). Examples of work group comparisons would be (e.g., HR, IT, Clinical, Finance, and Marketing). We can also provide a Public, For Profit, Not-for-Profit, Regional, Urban, Rural types of comparisons.
